For hydraulic oils, thermal oils, industrial oils, metalworking fluids, saw chain oils, transmission oils, motor oils, greases, bio-lubricants, ... against hydrolysis
The solution of numerous tribological issues and requirements is only made possible through the use of highly effective lubricants. For this reason, base liquids from esters (e.g. DITA, polyolesters, plant sterols) are now increasingly used in combination with additives to ensure excellent lubricating properties. However, both the ester-based oils and also the additives used (e.g. phosphoric acid esters, sulfurised fatty acid esters) tend to hydrolytically decompose. This can adversely affect the performance and service life of the lubricant. The hydrolysis can be effectively counteracted through the systematic use of hydrolysis protection additives of the LUBIO® series. Additives of the LUBIO® Hydrostab and LUBIO® Hystab series significantly improve the aging stability of lubricants.
